Welcome to Skate It Forward 2021!

Change is inevitable.

We all know that, but sometimes it still comes down and smacks you in the face. When planning this year’s show, we thought we made all the right considerations, but change has showed us we haven’t done enough. So many involved with SIF had distinctly different, and more challenging aspects to their skating life, making an ice show virtually impossible to produce. However, change has also offered an exciting opportunity.

Skate It Forward has teamed up with U.S. Olympic Medalist Ashley Wagner to host Skate it Forward Summer Seminar! Seminars will be available for all ages and abilities, and Ashley will also offer her special Skate and Sculpt workout seminar. The SIF hockey skills seminar will be hosted by Coach Lee Harris. 

As always, funds raised will benefit The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. We hope you’ll join us on the ice, and in our efforts to “Help the House!

Skate It Forward is a charitable initiative hosted by The Skating Club of Central Ohio, in partnership with OhioHealth Chiller Ice Rinks, to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. We combine our love of ice sports with an intense desire to help those in our community who are in need.

We are so very lucky to have the world’s largest Ronald McDonald House right here in Columbus, Ohio. But, with the great expansion in research and facilities at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, the demand for RMH services will also significantly rise. We have the opportunity to help meet that demand.

To date, cast members have raised nearly $100,000 to help families in need at RMH, making Skate It Forward its largest community fundraiser.
