Welcome to Skate It Forward 2021!
Missing SIF 2020 was heart wrenching for all of us. The fear and uncertainties facing our families this past year has been daunting. Time has passed, and we have heard from many of you that you are ready to get back in the rink – we have missed all of you!
So, we begin anew! You will notice many changes to this year’s format. Some changes are a direct reflection of new health and safety regulations; others are designed to make skater participation simpler. These changes may or may not be permanent. Basically, we look at this year as an opportunity to test things, to find new ways to improve future shows. This means your input is valuable to help us grow. We ask for your constructive input, because we always want to give our skaters the best possible experience. We also know that new doesn’t necessarily mean smooth, so we also ask for your patience as we strive to give skaters a meaningful experience, while supporting a worthy cause. Importantly, we are beyond grateful to be back on the ice together!
Our commitment to helping children and families remains strong; so once again Skate It Forward will partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. Thus far, skaters participating in Skate It Forward have raised nearly $100,000.00 going directly to The Ronald McDonald House Charities to aid families in need. This is such an impressive accomplishment by our skaters. We are honored by their commitment!
Skate It Forward 2021 is in progress! We are happy to be back at work, and look forward to seeing old friends and new faces at this years’ show, working together making a positive impact in the lives of those facing crisis.

Skate It Forward is a charitable initiative hosted by The Skating Club of Central Ohio, in partnership with OhioHealth Chiller Ice Rinks, to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. We combine our love of ice sports with an intense desire to help those in our community who are in need.
We are so very lucky to have the world’s largest Ronald McDonald House right here in Columbus, Ohio. But, with the great expansion in research and facilities at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, the demand for RMH services will also significantly rise. We have the opportunity to help meet that demand.
To date, cast members have raised nearly $100,000 to help families in need at RMH, making Skate It Forward its largest community fundraiser.
We would be honored if you would join us!
See you on the ice!
